On to another adventure! One of my good friends suggested I visit a little sim called Plumpton on Sea. I really liked the urban feel with a lot of little details. Dandelions and dragonflies, little alleys, launderette, even a broken water pipe! If you have time, it’s definitely one to stop by for. I couldn’t help but hop on my skateboard!

Purple Sunday

Purple is not my favorite color. I like lavender though…

I found out that the color purple is associated with a variety of meanings, including wisdom, creativity, royalty, power, ambition, and luxury. It can also represent magic, extravagance, peace, pride, independence, and wealth. That explains… LOL

Belle Epoque has been super kind and gifted a purple gown at the Fantasy Faire. I could not resist after a day of shopping and spending a fortune. 🙂

Doughnuts!

I like doughnuts. I like good doughnuts though. Not the ones that you buy at the cheap shop or the big chains. I like the simple kind, not too sweet, not too greasy. Funny enough, there are lots of doughnuts for sale in SL. Some look really good!

Happy Easter!

One of the things on SL that I’ve found is that it is harder to find “conservative” clothing. I’m no nun by any means, but I don’t want to hang out on the grid with my butt or boobs sticking out. I find that a lot of the clothing is very revealing and provocative. There are a few designers that I liked back in the days that are still on the grid and that still make clothing that I see myself wearing. At the end of the day, SL is an extension of me RL and what I wear reflects who I am. Fortunately, one of these designers is Ricielli and the lovely Vliet Ricielli behind the brand has been running hunts on a regular basis. This weekend, I’ve been able to scoop a L$ 15.00 dress that I feel comfortable wearing as part of the Easter Hunt.

Exploring again

Amazing how things change quickly on SL. I’m in awe about all the talent and dedication some of the residents of this funky world display for everyone to enjoy. Today I visited Elvion based on the Destination Guide recommendations. It is described as: With rising global temperatures cities become less habitable. Nature is taking back and people are migrating to the country. Except for some who refuse to leave. I absolutely loved all the details and the vibe on this sim.

She’s back on SL! After a few stints as a kid posing for pics for a friend and walking around the grid as a teen, I’m back!

I’m not sure I’ll go back to blogging like I used to, but I’m back on SL and looking forward to discovering all the amazing things I’ve missed in 10 years!

10 YEARS! OMG… So much has happened in the world in 10 years! SL is no different. We went from sculpts to mesh, from system to bento, the lightings, the water, the skies, so much has changed in this amazing little bubble that SL is.

This is it…. C’est fini….

After giving it much thoughts, I have decided to take a break from SL and therefore from the SL bloggosphere.  I don’t know if this will be a definite break or just time to regroup and come back in a little while.

SL has been a wonderful experience for me. I have met the man of my life, I have made awesome friends with whom I am in contact beyond SL.  It is time for me to move to other (and hopefully better) things.  I have been debating a lot about quitting blogging since it has been my sole logging in motivation for years. I first thought about making it to 500 posts but my friends told me to keep going so I did until today.  So after almost 44000 page views and 570 posts since May 2009, it is now time to call it quits.

Thank you for feeding my blog, thank you for reading my blog, and last but not least a big thank you to all the designers who have made this blog possible thanks to their creativity and gifts.

Après avoir mûrement réfléchi, j’ai décidé de faire une pause sur SL et de ce fait du monde du blog consacré à SL.  Je ne sais pas si ce break sera définitif ou juste une pause pour reprendre des forces et revenir dans pas longtemps.

SL a été une une expérience formidable pour moi.  J’y ai rencontré l’homme de ma vie et forgé des amitiés qui vont bien au delà de ce monde virtuel.  Il est temps pour moi de changer de cap.  J’ai longuement debatu sur le fait d’abandonner le blog puisque depuis plusieurs années c’était ma seule motivation de connection à SL. Je pensais je faire au 500ème post mais mes amis m’ont encouragés à continuer jusqu’à aujourd’hui.  Alors après prés de 44000 pages vues et 570 posts depuis mai 2009, j’ai decide d’arrêter.

Merci d’avoir repris mon blog, merci d’avoir lu mon blog, et surtout un grand merci aux créateurs qui m’ont permis de faire ce blog grace à leur créativité et générosité.

Quand mon ordi a rendu l’ame il y a 8 mois, j’ai investi 1300 $ dans un “gaming Laptop”, le G53JW d’Asus…. J’aurais pas du!  J’ai 2 ports USB casses sur 3, un ecran bleu (BSOD) en moyenne 4 fois par semaine et là, j’en peux plus alors je le renvois faire une cure de jouvence chez Asus.  Qui sait combien de temps ils vont le garder….  Alors en attendant, pas de posts sur le blog meme si je vais essayer d’installer un viewer SL sur un vieux PC.  En attendant, vous pouvez aller faire un tour sur les blogs qui sont sur la liste à droite de cette page.
